The Mission

Bite London exists to prove one thing: London is the food capital of the world. From destination restaurants to the city's best bakeries, desserts and other light-bite spots, every place featured here is worth knowing about — whether it's worth queuing for, a new opening to watch, or occasionally one to avoid.

Every review is judged fairly using a tailored scoring system based on the type of venue. Restaurants are rated on Food, Service, Ambiance, Value and Amenities, while light-bite eateries are scored on Food, Value and Aesthetic. Different experiences deserve different criteria, but every review is held to the same honest, consistent standard.

Keep an eye out for the stars on a receipt — they mark my standout dish from the visit.
